can and WILL be used to shoot holes in what you did before, during and after your acts of self defense.

There is a whole shit load of stuff to know and understand that will drive how you act.
If a prosecutor decides to charge you with self-defense then there are two reasons:
- You screwed up and stepped outside the SD square OR
- You’re an easy target/win so you’re screwed anyway!
Because, you’re not a professional, criminal or violence, then you can expect both of the above.
Prosecutors don’t like professionals because they know how to make things really hard for the prosecutor to win.
