Mistakes

Machigai [間違い]

You’re already familiar with the saying, “it’s ok to make mistakes, because we all make-em and it is the best opportunity to learn, succeed and grow!”

Maybe a better way to think is to not label them mistakes but label them “pathway to growth! (Seichō e no michisuji [成長への道筋])

This is a critical concept, especially in our society where perfectionism dominates, because how you teach, guide and demonstrate another way to do something with the potential toward better actions and results … MATTERS!

These pathways provide for forward momentum and movement along an appropriate and beneficial path for each novice practitioner and that is a positive win-win for everyone. It’s a way to set a positive attitude to the benefits of all involved creating an open positive mind-state.

Don’t critique, do massage and move one’s mind and body toward positive endeavors - keep the forward momentum.

When guiding, suggest alternatives and never say one is wrong 😑 ever! Say something like, “I have a slightly different view or perspective on that … let me show you so you can play with it … mull it over a while …

There are NO MISTAKES OR ERRORS, only barriers and obstacles to conquer and overcome!provide those who would follow alternative methods to try, test and accept/reject.
