Awareness Requires Perceptions

Ninshiki ni wa chikaku ga hitsuyō [認識には知覚が必要]

We all have beliefs based on perceptions of the worlds we live in and to achieve both environmental and situational awareness to avoid conflicts and violence we must loosen our beliefs so changes can be made.

In the world of conflict and violence we will learn many things that will seem, feel and create resistance to what we believe. We have to let them in, change our beliefs and then give ourselves permissions in dealing with what it will require of us to act before, if we can, during, if we can’t, and after, when dealing with consequences. To bury one’s head in the sand just won’t do.
