In order to achieve that condition it had to be worn in that condition unless the individual did what some do today, drag it behind a truck down some dirty rocky road until it reached a condition such as this.

NO! I'd keep it if it represented years of blood, sweat and tears but I wouldn't wear it - it's a complete mess!
